Steph Curry Passes Michael Jordan on Historic List
The things that Steph Curry is doing at the age of 35 is absolutely insane. It's not just your eyes that are telling you either, the numbers and stats actually back it up as well. On Wednesday night against the LA Clippers, Steph Curry passed the greatest basketball player of all time on a historic list.
Steph Curry has officially surpassed Michael Jordan as having the most 50+ point games after turning 30 years old. Michael Jordan has 6 games, and Steph Curry now has 7 after playing against the Clippers. The only player more than him is Wilt Chamberlain, tied at 7 games.
The things that Steph Curry is capable of are truly tremendous. He's showing no signs of slowing down despite being 35 years old and is averaging the third most points of his career. After Wednesday night's game against the Clippers, Steph Curry is averaging 30.1 points this season.
While it's great that Steph Curry is capable of being this tremendous, the Golden State Warriors need to figure out how to start winning games on the road. The Warriors have not won a basketball game on the road since January 30, when they defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder. Curry was fantastic against the Clippers, but the Warriors could not grab a rebound and couldn't stop the Clippers defensively at all.
It seems like Steph Curry is making history on a nightly basis, but the Warriors need to make sure it doesn't go to waste.
