Steph Curry Reacts to Anthony Edwards Calling Out Warriors
In a recent interview with Heir, Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards said he wants a playoff matchup with the Golden State Warriors because Draymond Green talks so much trash. Steph Curry was asked about these comments during his appearance on Gil's Arena, and said it's nothing new for Golden State.
"Is that what he said? Because of Draymond," Curry said with a laugh. "I love that, though. I love that we have some real estate in the offseason in terms of people thinking about us. But ya, we've handled that question plenty of times. In terms of whatever the motivation is, whatever energy you're coming with. We're the most competitive group I think, because we've proven it over and over again. So we don't need any extra riff on that."
Curry has a lot of respect for Anthony Edwards, and recently spoke about the time the young shooting guard attended his Curry Camp before becoming an NBA star. According to Curry, Edwards stood out as the one player who looked destined for greatness at the next level. While this mutual respect exists, it would be a great battle if Golden State saw Minnesota in the playoffs, especially if Edwards takes another leap forward next season.
Currently starring for Team USA under Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, Edwards has been showing the world why he is so confident in his game.
