The Golden State Warriors made a major game plan adjustment in Game 2 vs. the Los Angeles Lakers, putting the ball in Steph Curry's hands more often, and allowing him to make plays out of double-teams. The Lakers played incredibly aggressive defense on Curry, consistently trapping him throughout the game, which resulted in the star point guard dishing out 12 assists in a blowout win.

Curry was unsurprisingly asked about this game plan adjustment, and how he and his team countered the aggressive defense from LA.

"It was a point of emphasis to try to get the ball in my hands a little bit more to start," Curry said of Golden State's game plan. "The rest is just kind of read and react, taking what's there. The [Lakers] obviously had a game plan, and we tried to make adjustments, and I'm sure that will continue throughout the rest of the series. And that's the beauty of what we can do, play a lot of different ways."

With the Lakers intent on limiting Curry's scoring, the star point guard only took 12 shots in the Game 2 victory. When asked about this after the game, and if he gets an increased level of satisfaction making plays for others, Curry said, "I do, but I like to shoot, too. So, just finding ways to be impactful and be aggressive. And whatever is working, sticking with that until you have to do something different. We're capable of playing a lot of different ways, I'm capable of playing a lot of different ways."

On his lack of shots, which was a product of LA's defense, Curry said, "As long as we're creating open shots, no matter who is taking them. Obviously tonight I didn't have a lot of open ones for a reason. Make the right decision, ball finds the right person, and good things happen."

It was a detailed breakdown form Curry on how he and the Warriors countered this defensive game plan from LA; however, as he mentioned, Golden State expects the Lakers to make adjustments as the series goes on.
