The Kansas City Chiefs took down the Philadelphia Eagles in Sunday night's Super Bowl, and Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry was happy to see it. Friends with Chiefs quarterback and Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes, Curry shared a message for the superstar QB on Instagram:

People have at times compared Curry and Mahomes due to their equally exciting play-styles and overall success. Both players are now multi-time champions and league MVPs. For Curry, he is a four-time champion, two-time MVP, and nine-time All-Star. Now the reigning league and Super Bowl MVP, Mahomes is a two-time champion, two-time Super Bowl MVP, two-time league MVP, and five-time Pro Bowl selection.

There are definitely some parallels between Curry and Mahomes, and it is fun to see the friendship they have outside of sports. Sharing a love for golf, the two have met up on the golf course, which is where Curry shared a photo from when he congratulated Mahomes on the Super Bowl victory.

It was an incredible performance from Mahomes and the Chiefs, who took down a very good Eagles team that was led by a dominant effort from Jalen Hurts. In one of the more entertaining Super Bowls in recent history, Mahomes took home the MVP, continuing his unparalleled trajectory to start his career.
