Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins is battling an injury entering Game 6 vs. the Los Angeles Lakers, having suffered a left costal cartilage fracture. Wiggins has officially been listed as questionable for Game 6; however, there are new updates on his status.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the current expectation is that Wiggins will attempt to play through his injury in Game 6 vs. the Lakers. Wojnarowski noted that shooting will be a challenge, but Wiggins is expected to go through his usual pregame routine to see how he feels.

Warriors big man Kevon Looney has played through this injury in the past, and told the media at shoot-around on Friday that the pain level was a 7 or 8 for him. Looney also mentioned that his injury was unable to get worse, which helped him play through it. According to the Warriors big man, a doctor had informed him that the injury could not get worse by playing through it, which gave him the confidence to gut it out.

While it is unclear just how similar Wiggins' situation is to the one Looney dealt with in the past, it does seem as if Wiggins is going to attempt to play in this massive Game 6 on Friday night. Should the Warriors steal a win, Game 7 would be in Golden State.
