It was announced by the Golden State Warriors on Friday morning that they had signed former lottery pick Jerome Robinson to their final two-way spot. In an official announcement, the team wrote the following:

"Robinson, 26, has appeared in 60 games over the last two seasons with Golden State's G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, averaging 16.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 29.6 minutes per game. Originally selected by the Los Angeles Clippers with the 13th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, Robinson owns career averages of 4.5 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 14.2 minutes in 113 games (12 starts) over three seasons (2018-21) with the Clippers and Washington Wizards. The 6'5" guard saw action in 90 games (all starts) over three seasons at Boston College (2015-18), averaging 17.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.30 steals in 34.6 minutes per contest. Robinson becomes the Warriors' third two-way contract, joining Lester Quinones and Usman Garuba."

This is a great opportunity for Robinson after the former lottery pick has spent a lot of time with Golden State’s G-League affiliate. Likely to spend more time with the Santa Cruz Warriors next season, Robinson will at least be a step closer to NBA action with this two-way deal. Sticking around the league after struggling early in his career, Robinson has persevered through some struggles and now has a great opportunity with Golden State.
