Warriors Give Concerning Update on Andrew Wiggins' Return
The Golden State Warriors and their fans have been patiently waiting to see when Andrew Wiggins will return from personal reasons. Wiggins has missed 11 games due to personal reasons and has not played since February 13.
According to Warriors' head coach Steve Kerr, Andrew Wiggins' return to the team this season isn't a sure thing.
"I think that's the hope," Steve Kerr said about Wiggins returning. "But really there's nothing to report on, so we're giving him his space as we talked about. As he deals with something that's way more important than the game. If he's able to come back then that would be great, and if he's not, then that's the case. Whatever happens, we handle it accordingly."
It's a very unfortunate situation for Wiggins, and it's great that the team is giving him this much space. It's hard to speculate what exactly Andrew Wiggins is going through, but the best thing fans can do is support him.
Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have found themselves freefalling since Steph Curry's return, going 0-3. It doesn't get any easier at all for the Warriors, as they face off against the Milwaukee Bucks at home tonight, the Phoenix Suns at home on Monday, and then the LA Clippers on the road on Wednesday. It's do-or-die time for the Golden State Warriors, and it's time to figure things out, this team has more than enough talent to make up for Andrew Wiggins' absence.
