Wizards Black Owned DMV Spotlight on BITH GROUP Technologies, T|W Tote & Milk and Honey
The Washington Wizards are continuing to spotlight Black Owned Business in DC, Maryland and Virginia, not only for Black History Month but throughout the years.
For four consecutive years, the Washington Wizards are recognizing and showcasing local Black-owned businesses. In 2023, the Wizards spotlighted 6 businesses from November to April, on the team’s Black-Owned DMV page, the Wizards’ social channels, in-game activations through Wizards marketing assets, and on Monumental Sports Network. BITH GROUP Technologies
The 2023-24 Black-Owned DMV program will tip off in November by recognizing Bithenergy, an award-winning energy engineering and technical services consulting firm that maximizes the business value and efficiency of each unit of energy produced and consumed. Founded by Robert Wallace in 2009, Bithenergy aims to solve complex energy challenges by offering their clients intelligent strategies, advanced information systems, innovative technologies, and the development of renewable energy systems. T|W Tote
T|W Tote will be showcased in December’s Black-Owned DMV spotlight. Established by West Indies natives Shallon Thomas and Sherika Wynter, T|W Tote offers a range of luxury products, ranging from insulated totes, multiple compartment toiletry bags, weekender bags and backpacks. Milk and Honey
To start the new year, Milk & Honey Café will be featured throughout the month of January. The New Orleans-inspired southern brunch restaurant features award-winning shrimp & grits, chicken & waffles, RumChataÒ French toast, and specializes in a variety of slow-cooked favorites.
