The Washington Wizards are continuing to spotlight Black Owned Business in DC, Maryland and Virginia, not only for Black History Month but throughout the years.

For four consecutive years, the Washington Wizards are recognizing and showcasing local Black-owned businesses. In 2023, the Wizards spotlighted 6 businesses from November to April, on the team’s Black-Owned DMV page, the Wizards’ social channels, in-game activations through Wizards marketing assets, and on Monumental Sports Network. Stop Smack'n

Our Black Owned DMV Spotlight, presented by Capital One, kicks off the New Year with Stop Smack’n Restaurant & Lounge! Check them out on Georgia Ave for their brand-new ambiance and their southern Louisiana and Caribbean cuisine.

Dance Institute of Washington

Beauty Skin Bar DC
