After the game Coach Wes Unseld Jr. and Tyus Jones spoke to the media. Below are a few notable quotes from the postgame conference.
Coach Wes Unseld Jr.
"I thought we played with the level of poise from start to finish. I liked our energy and effort, you know, throughout the game, it didn't seem to to wane and every time they like kind of made a push, we push back so that that."
"To see and yeah, you know that it's a good team. So the fact you can go toe to toe, it's a really good team, have an opportunity to, you know to win the game that's it's a positive."
"Guys who scored 20 plus we moved the ball well. Low turnover night, obviously. Paint defense wasn't exactly where it needed to be, but we kept them off the three-point line. Obviously the free throws 25 I believe in that second-half. That was a huge difference."
Tyus Jones
"Get it going, and sometimes it gets get you sideways and now those possessions. If you lose or possessions where you're not In Sync, they start to compound themselves. We didn't happen tonight, so that's certainly a positive to see us weather the storm."
"We went on our runs. They went on their runs, comes down to the wire, but definitely taking away a lot of positives from it. And we got another one tomorrow night. So we got a quick turn around and be ready to go. We're just sharing the ball right now, really well, figuring it out, figuring out our spacing, figuring out."
