After the game Coach Wes Unseld Jr. and Kyle Kuzma spoke to the media. Below are a few notable quotes from the postgame conference.

Coach Unseld Jr.

"I think that's kind of a lesson for us, for us all as we knew going in that they're very aggressive, very physical team and I don't think we came out anticipating that amount of force. They played last night just like we did so to show a little more resilience in that second-half was positive, but you know we have to make sure we're ready to go and start the game."

"I mean some of it is really good defense. [Jordan Poole's] got the primary defender on him at all times. You know, last night it was a corral. Obviously tonight you saw a number of bodies, but he's the priority most often on the scouting report and teams are, for good reason, trying to put their best defender on him."

Kyle Kuzma

"We've been turning the ball over. Playing a little different, haven't been hitting shots, haven't been playing with pace. Fast Breaks have been a little different. You know, today was cool for segments because we got stops and we got out"
