The Washington Wizards could finally enjoy a comeback win of their own on Thursday night. With the Wizards trailing for most of the game, they battled back with an impressive win against the Timberwolves. The win sealed the Wizards sweep of the Minnesota Timberwolves for the season series.

Inside the Wizards Staff Writer, Tyrone Montgomery, predicted a Wizards win in related article Why The Wizards Should Have Their Way Vs Timberwolves. Sometimes with the Wizards it’s hard to be so sure given the team has lost their fair share of leads late in games.

Inside the Wizards Staff Writer, Darrell Owens, summed up the comeback win in related article Bradley Beal Has A Throwback Night Against Minnesota. Bradley Beal had a season-high and game-best 35 points adding six rebounds, five assists and three steals. His teammates showed him all of the love recognizing that Beal displayed true leadership in the game to get the Wizards up one more in the win column.

Kristaps Porzingis calling Beal “a bad man” in his tweet.

Kyle Kuzma with the shout-out to Beal as well.

Kuzma was so excited about the win, he changed his profile picture to remember the moment.

The momentum feels real for sure going into the All Star Break. The big question will be can the team stay healthy and make a push for the playoffs, not just the play-in, once the break is over.
