Corporate America can be pretty cut and dry at times. There is no heart within that business. It is all about numbers, prices, and most importantly, profit. The days of the past are quite frankly, the past. Years prior, you can make the case and the argument of what have I done for you before. Those days are over. The one and the only question that remains and comes up is what can you do for me now?

Losing a job is one of the worst experiences one can experience. To lose a job twice within the same year is far beyond one can even imagine, even if they are old and close to retirement.

Taj Gibson started the season out with the Washington Wizards. He was the veteran guy in the locker room that this team could desperately use right now. The Wizards decided to cut him.

Wizards Cut Ties With Veteran Big Man

After being released by the Wizards, the New York Knicks signed Gibson. There was a level of familiarity there as he spent some good years of his career there playing next to Hall of Famer Carmelo Anthony. The Knicks have been making a lot of changes this year. They loss Mitchell Robinson for the indefinite future due to an injury so they had to bring in Taj Gibson. That move truly made sense for them.

They recently traded for O.G. Anunoby who offers some size to the team. Now, they have decided to move on from Taj Gibson as he has been released by the Knicks.

It remains to be seen rather or not this is the end of the road for the former Wizard, Taj Gibson. He still has a bit left in the tank. Don’t be surprised if he gets picked up soon by another title contender.
