A full force rebuild is in effect for the Washington Wizards and the fastest way to expedite the process it is to gather as many draft picks and young talent as possible.

The Wizards have a ton of veteran talent that can be offloaded to contenders at the trade deadline including guard Tyus Jones.

The Orlando Magic, Houston Rockets and Philadelphia 76ers are the three teams rumored as potential matches for Washington to trade Jones to.

These three teams are all potential playoff teams and could use the depth at the point guard position.

Jones has been playing great lately which is good news for Wizards fans because his trade value is sky rocketing.

Another thing about those three teams is they all have lots of future draft capital.

It's funny because both the 76ers and Rockets have a stockpile of picks and pick swaps from trading the same player, now Los Angeles Clippers guard James Harden.

Washington Wizards guard Tyus Jones (5) drives to the net against Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker (1) during the first quarter at Footprint Center.

If Washington is to trade Jones, they really should, Houston would be the best trade partner for them.

The Rockets, as mentioned above, have lots of draft capital and young talent.

This is a new front office for the Wizards but as a franchise they are familiar with Houston general manager Rafeal Stone from the Russell Westbrook and John Wall swap.

There seems to be some frustration within the Rockets with guard Jalen Green and if there is a crack in the door to pull him away it might be worth the risk.

Green has struggled mightily in his third season under new Houston head coach Ime Udoka and is heavily criticized by the fan base.

To be able to get a high-upside guard and some draft capital would be ideal, but Washington would have to give up more than just Jones, which is possible because they have plenty of veteran talent to trade away.

It is doubtful the Rockets just give up on Green, but it is worth a phone call.

The Wizards could also look at big men from Philadelphia or the Magic like Mo Bamba who showed promise in his last performance.

Draft capital should be the main focus in trade talks for Washington.

As we get closer to the deadline the rumors around the Wizards will ramp up including around center Daniel Gafford, guard Jordan Poole, forward Kyle Kuzma and others.
