Report: Jets expected to hire Mike Maccagnan as new GM
The New York Jets are expected to hire Houston Texans director of college scouting Mike Maccagnan as their new general manager, reports NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Maccagnan interviewed with Jets owner Woody Johnson and consultants Charley Casserly and Ron Wolf on Monday, and reportedly was the first candidate for the position to be interviewed twice.
The Jets have had Maccagnan in town for the last three days, according to Rapoport.
