Report: Texans trading QB Ryan Fitzpatrick to Jets
The Houston Texans are reportedly trading quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick to the New York Jets for a late-round conditional draft pick, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter.
NFL.com's Albert Breer and Kimberly Jones first reported that the sides were discussing a possible trade.
In his first season in Houston, the 32-year-old Fitzpatrick completed 63% of his passes with 17 touchdowns and eight interceptions, missing the final month of the season after injuring his leg. He went 3-6 in his starts for the Texans.
