Report: Panthers LB Luke Kuechly (concussion) cleared to practice
Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly was cleared to practice on Tuesday, reports ESPN’s Ed Werder.
Kuechly, who has missed 3 1/2 games this season due to a concussion, will begin preparations with his team ahead of Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.
On Sept. 13, the 24-year-old left Carolina’s season-opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second quarter after attempting to tackle T.J Yeldon. He has not played since.
Kuechly, a two-time Pro Bowler, was the NFC Defensive Player of the Year in 2013. He was drafted by the Panthers in the first round of the 2012 draft out of Boston College.
Before the season, he signed a five-year, $62 million contract.
The Panthers (4–0) will travel to Seattle to face the Seahawks (2–3) on Sunday at CenturyLink Field.
