Rob Ryan to join brother Rex’s staff in Buffalo
Rob Ryan will join the Buffalo Bills as a defensive coach under his twin brother Rex, the team announced.
Rob has made quite a few stops around the NFL—he started off as a linebackers coach with the New England Patriots in 2000, and worked with the Raiders, Browns, Cowboys and Saints as a defensive coordinator. He was fired by the Saints in November after his defense, ranked last in the NFL, surrendered 47 points in a loss to the Redskins.

Rex worked as a defensive coordinator with the Bengals and Ravens before landing his first head coaching job with the Jets in 2009. After his dismissal in 2014, he signed a five-year deal with the Bills.
Both brothers are the son of former Eagles and Cardinals head coach Buddy Ryan.
