Hot mics caught a hilarious exchange postgame between New York Giants star running back Saquon Barkley and New England Patriots defensive back Jabrill Peppers after the Giants’ 10–7 win Sunday.

Barkley and Peppers were teammates for the Giants for three seasons and shared a postgame embrace after the Giants clinched the victory. Only a few words were shared, but Peppers had a funny message for Barkley that has fans everywhere cracking up.

New England Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers congratulates New York Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito after the quarterback won the first game he started in the NFL, 10-7, Sunday, November 26, 2023.

“You lucky we ass!” Peppers said to Barkley as the two shared a quick hug, which sent Barkley into hysterics.

Here’s the funny clip.

Peppers may not be wrong. The lowly Patriots fell to 2–9 with the loss, and the Giants only escaped with a victory after New England kicker Chad Ryland pushed a potential game-tying 35-yard field goal wide left. Still, it’s hilarious to hear a player be so frank about his own team, and fans were dying at the exchange on social media.
