NFL Fans Crushed Patrick Mahomes Over His Dramatic Rant on Penalty’s Impact on Travis Kelce’s Career

This take was a bit ridiculous.

Patrick Mahomes was fuming after Sunday’s loss to the Bills, and NFL fans couldn’t believe what the Chiefs quarterback had to say about a costly penalty that negated a go-ahead touchdown with just over a minute left in the game.

In case you missed it, Travis Kelce fired off a perfect lateral to Kadarius Toney, who raced into the end zone for the score. It was called back, however, because Toney had lined up offsides on the play. That call led to Mahomes having to be held back from the refs and then later had him delivering an NFSW message to Josh Allen during their postgame handshake.

After the game, Mahomes was concerned the play would not be shown when Kelce enters the Hall of Fame, which was just a wild thing to say.

“That’s a Hall of Fame tight end making a Hall of Fame play that won’t be shown because [they] threw a flag for offensive offsides,” Mahomes said. “It takes away from, not only this game, this season, but from a legendary career that Travis has had. That hurts me because I know how hard he works for it.”

NFL fans crushed him for that overly dramatic take:
