NFL Fans Roasted Dallas’s NBC Affiliate for Leaving End of Lions’ Win Over Rams Early

This was a tough look.

The Detroit Lions won their first playoff game in 32 years on Sunday night, and the celebrations by the jubilant home crowd over the final few minutes were a sight to see, with many fans shown crying in pure joy as they finally got to witness a postseason victory. 

You know who didn’t get to see those goosebump-inducing scenes? Fans watching in Dallas, because the local NBC affiliate dumped out of the game early to get to a weather report about cold temperatures. 

Fans in Dallas were probably over football at that point, seeing how their team lost to the Green Bay Packers in embarrassing fashion a few hours earlier, but this was still an interesting move by NBC 5:
