Kansas City Chiefs star defensive tackle undefined made a definitive statement about his future with the team at Wednesday’s Super Bowl victory parade.

Jones, who is an impending free agent this offseason, declared that he plans to return to Kansas City.

“I need three of those rings, baby, we ain’t done yet,” Jones screamed into a microphone at Wednesday’s parade. “Kansas City, we will be back here next year. And for those who want Chris Jones gone, I ain’t going nowhere, baby!”

On Sunday, Jones joined former New England Patriots great Richard Seymour as one of two players in NFL history to be named first-team All-Pro and a Super Bowl champion in back-to-back seasons. He played in 16 games this season and accumulated 10.5 sacks after signing a one-year deal to return to Kansas City last offseason.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid told the media earlier this week that the franchise wants Jones to return.

“I think [general manager Brett] Veach has said it before—we’d love to have him back,” Reid said. “They’ve just got to work all that out, but I think the effort will be there probably on both parts to try to get something done.”

Jones will be one of the top players on the free agent market this spring, but he loves playing in Kansas City and seems set on staying with the Chiefs rather than truly testing the waters elsewhere.
