Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany paid a visit to the Children’s Mercy Hospital on Friday to spend time with a few young victims of the shooting at Wednesday’s Super Bowl parade.

Fox 4 News Kansas City’s Malik Jackson posted a photo of the Mahomes family posing with the Reyes family, whose two daughters—an 8-year-old and 10-year-old—were both shot in the legs and recently underwent surgery.

Per Fox 4 News Kansas City, the Reyes family is related to Lisa Lopez-Galvan, who tragically died in the shooting Wednesday at Union Station in Kansas City.

“We want to give a personal thank you to the staff of Children’s Mercy Hospital and Patrick & Brittany Mahomes for their outpouring care, love, and support,” the Reyes family said in a statement.

Nothing but class from the Mahomes family during this tragic time in Kansas City.
