Bengals Shoot Up Power Rankings After Win Over Buccaneers
CINCINNATI — The Bengals only have one team above them in Sports Illustrated's latest power rankings. The Eagles sit at No. 1 in the league, while Cincinnati is at No. 2.
"There is just so much to love and appreciate about this Bengals team that we seemed to ignore over the first half of the season," Connor Orr wrote. "Since Week 10, Cincinnati is posting the third-lowest opposing rush EPA per play in the NFL. The Bengals are gutting their AFC counterparts where it hurts."
Joe Burrow's crew is on the franchise's longest win streak since 2015 (six games) and have a chance to set a new record on Saturday. If the Bengals win and cover the 3.5-point spread, they'll set a franchise record with seven straight wins and covers against the spread.
The last time Cincinnati had a six-game streak like this was during the 1988 AFC Championship season.
Next up is New England on Christmas Eve. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET on CBS. You can watch via fuboTV—start your free trial here.
