Four Cincinnati Bengals Targets That Boosted Their Stock at 2023 NFL Combine
CINCINNATI — The 2023 NFL Combine is over and plenty of players took another step toward becoming professional football players.
The tight ends in this class shined bright on Saturday. We covered them and named some potential Bengals targets here.
Outside of tight end, which players on Cincinnati's radar shined the brightest? Here are four prospects that boosted their stock at the 2023 NFL Combine:
Darnell Wright, OT, Tennessee
Wright appears to be a legitimate contender for the 28th pick after his performance at the combine.
He has long arms, a solid frame at 6-5, 333 pounds and moved well in athletic drills. He ran the 40-yard dash in 5.01 seconds and leapt over 9-feet, 7-inches in the broad jump.
Wright's elite athleticism and size will give the Bengals plenty to think about if he's still on the board when they're on the clock.
Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, Alabama
The Bengals met with Gibbs at the combine. He showed off his speed, running a 4.36 40-yard dash.
He looked natural as a pass catcher and glided through on-field drills. Gibbs doesn't have prototypical size (5-9, 199 pounds) for a workhorse running back, but he'd be an ideal fit for a pass-first team like the Bengals.
Zach Charbonnet, RB, UCLA
The Bengals also met with Charbonnet, who is a bigger, physical player that also has the ability to catch out of the backfield.
Charbonnet ran a 4.53 40-yard dash at 214 pounds. He's explosion scores, college production and film put him in line to go in the second or third round. If the Bengals want him, they'll likely have to take him in round two (60th overall).

Blake Freeland, OT, BYU
Freeland is the exact type of offensive tackle the Bengals could target on day two. He's an elite athlete, with good height (6-7) and a big enough frame to add weight.
His 40-yard dash, 10-yard split, broad jump and vertical jump were all elite.
Freeland's draft stock went up after his impressive performance at the combine.
