Josh Allen On Facing The Bengals Again This Season: 'It's Gonna Be A Little Bit Emotional'

The Bills' quarterback had a lot of praise for his college teammate, Logan Wilson.

CINCINNATI — Josh Allen appeared on Kyle Brandt's Basement this week and dove into the matchup with the Bengals. 

The Bills quarterback knows it'll be emotional following the game's cancellation due to Damar Hamlin's cardiac arrest.

"Given the circumstances of the last time you stepped on the field, I'm sure it's gonna be a little bit emotional," Allen said about the rematch. "You know, I will say that I've got so much respect for the Bengals, their staff, their organization, and their players.

"After everything that transpired. The way that we came together and kind of talked with them—they were extremely open to the whole concept of not continuing the game and making sure that we were okay. Got a lot of respect for them."

Allen has led his team to the divisional round in back-to-back seasons. He had a lot of praise for Logan Wilson following the big forced fumble on Sunday night.

"Logan Wilson, my college teammate, made an unbelievable play in last week's game," Allen said. "Their defense is playing extremely hard right now, so we're gonna have our hands full and again on either side of the ball. Joe Burrow—he's got a lot of different weapons that he can get the ball to at any time, and he's playing some dang good football too."

The Bengals are currently 4.5-point underdogs to the Bills in what could be an epic heavyweight clash.
