Mike Hilton Reveals He Had Surgery on Injured Finger

The cornerback missed Sunday's game against Carolina.

CINCINNATI — Bengals cornerback Mike Hilton revealed to the media that he had surgery on his injured finger last week.

Despite going under the knife, he did say he'll be ready for the Steelers game on Nov. 20.

"Absolutely," Hilton said when asked if he'll play against Pittsburgh. "It's just a precaution thing. I did have surgery (on the pinkie) last Tuesday. It's just a quick turnaround, and they don't want to risk the possibility of re-injury."

Hilton went on to say the surgery fixed a torn ligament and multiple fractures in the pinkie.

"I'll be ready to go after the bye," Hilton confirmed.

Cincinnati would've loved having a healthy Hilton on Sunday, but it didn't matter. They intercepted PJ Walker multiple times before half and entered the locker room with more points (35) than the Panthers had yards (29).
