Tee Higgins On Playing For Bengals: I Plan On Being In Cincinnati For A While
CINCINNATI — Tee Higgins is making his Super Bowl media rounds this week and firmly endorsed staying in Cincinnati while on air with NFL Network.
"Hopefully for a long time," Higgins said about keeping the Bengals special offensive core together. "I plan on being in Cincinnati for a while, so we're gonna see what happens."
He had similar thoughts while on with CBS Sports Network
"I love Cincinnati," Higgins said. "You know great city, great people, great fans. But great organization, everybody inside the organization. I would love to be there for my whole career."
Higgins was second on the team behind Ja'Marr Chase in yards (1,029), catches (74), and receiving touchdowns (7) this past season.
The third-year player doesn't think the team needs to change its mindset much in his fourth year to capture that elusive Super Bowl title.
"We just gotta do what we did this past year, man," Higgins said about the team's response. "Just be us at the end of the day and just take it one game at a time. Just like everybody thought, you know, we had that 0-2 start, but we knew what we had in the locker room. We knew we just had to take it one game at a time, and we got all the way back to AFC Championship."
The young star will be a big part of those goals for, at the very least, one more season.
