KANSAS CITY — These Bengals are different.

I said that statement multiple times this week on various platforms. Some listeners might've mocked the thought of Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase and Zac Taylor beating Patrick Mahomes in his own building, but these Bengals continue to show how different they are.

They beat the Chiefs 27-24 in overtime on Sunday to advance to the Super Bowl.

Cincinnati had key players step up in every phase of the game. The defense stopped Kansas City six-straight times and only allowed three points in the second half.

Joe Burrow ran for four first downs and made multiple big throws with the game on the line. Ja'Marr Chase climbed the ladder and made a great third down touchdown catch to tie the game.

Rookie kicker Evan McPherson made four more field goals on Sunday, including a 52-yarder in the fourth quarter and the game winning 31-yarder in overtime.

He's 12-for-12 this postseason and continues to shine bright on the biggest stage.

These Bengals are different. And they're one win away from being world champions.
