Jackson Carman Test Positive for COVID-19, Could Miss Bengals' Game Against Giants
CINCINNATI — Bengals guard Jackson Carman tested positive for COVID-19, which means he'll be away from the team for five days, unless he tests negative twice on back-to-back days.
Carman practiced on Wednesday, but was out on Thursday, which means he's in danger of missing Cincinnati's game in New York on Sunday night.
He's battling Cordell Volson for the starting left guard job. Volson, a fourth-rounder out of North Dakota State, has gotten the majority of first-team reps this week and could bolster his chances of starting with a good showing on Sunday in New York. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. ET.
