Ravens End Practice Practice Early After Two Starters Suffer Significant Injuries

Baltimore continues to be bitten by the injury bug.

CINCINNATI — The Ravens ended practice early on Thursday after star cornerback Marcus Peters and starting running back Gus Edwards both suffered potentially season-ending knee injuries on back-to-back plays. 

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network was the first to report the news. The team fears that both players suffered torn ACLs. 

Peters is a huge part of the Ravens' defense and Edwards was expected to start with J.K. Dobbins out for the year with a torn ACL of his own. 

Baltimore is also without running back Justice Hill, who suffered a torn Achilles earlier this week.

They only have two running backs on the active roster: Ty'Son Williams and Trenton Cannon. Former All-Pro Le'Veon Bell signed with their practice squad earlier this week.
