CINCINNATI — The Bengals signed wide receiver Tyron Johnson and defensive end Owen Carney to their practice squad on Tuesday. 

Johnson has 23 receptions for 422 yards and three touchdowns in 26 career games. He's known for his deep speed and is averaging 18.3 yards-per-catch. 

He's played for the Chargers, Jaguars, Raiders and Texans. 

Carney is a rookie from the University of Illinois. He was waived by the Dolphins during final cuts after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent April.
