Bengals Defensive Tackle DJ Reader Suffers Torn Quad Tendon in Win Over Vikings
CINCINNATI — Bengals defensive tackle DJ Reader suffered a torn quad tendon in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Vikings according to Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
He suffered a torn left quad tendon in 2020. This injury is to his right leg.
It's brutal news for Reader and the Bengals. He's a huge part of their defense.
Reader is scheduled to become a free agent in March. The 29-year-old is one of the best interior defenders in the NFL.
