Joe Mixon Named AFC Offensive Player of the Week Following Panthers Win

The running back had a career day against Carolina this past Sunday.

CINCINNATI — Joe Mixon is your AFC Offensive Player of the Week.

The running back won the award after rushing 22 times for 153 yards and four touchdowns in Sunday's 42-21 win over the Panthers.

He added four receptions on five targets for 58 yards and a fifth score through the air. It marks the third AFC OPTW award of Mixon's career, and his first since Week 12 of last season.

Mixon and the Bengals' offensive line will try to keep the success rolling against Pittsburgh (16th in rush yards per game allowed) at 4:25 p.m. ET on Nov. 20.
