Micah Parsons on Joe Burrow: 'Some Games He's Not There'

The Cowboys' star was critical of the Bengals' second-year quarterback.

LOS ANGELES — Joe Burrow might not need any more motivation ahead of Sunday's game against the Rams in Super Bowl LVI, but he might've got some anyway on Wednesday afternoon when Cowboys star rookie Micah Parsons said Burrow wasn't a top five quarterback.

He ranked Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Aaron Rodgers, Kyler Murray, Lamar Jackson and Dak Prescott ahead of Burrow.

"Joe's like extremely good, but then some games Joe would like have a day, but then some games like he's not there," Parsons told Taylor Rooks

He did say that Burrow was a top-10 quarterback, but his comments could be viewed as a slight, especially after what's happened in Cincinnati this season.

Burrow has helped the Bengals rebound from a 2-14 season in 2019 and led them to the Super Bowl just two years later. He's one win from Cincinnati sports immortality.
