Who's the NFL's Best Nickel Cornerback? Mike Hilton Chimes in on the Debate

Is the Bengals' veteran the top player at his position?

CINCINNATI — When the Bengals signed Mike Hilton last offseason, they were hoping to land one of the best nickel cornerbacks in the NFL. 

The veteran delivered in year one, finishing with 66 tackles, five passes defensed and two interceptions, including a pick-six against the Steelers. 

Is Hilton the best nickel cornerback in the NFL? The 28-year-old shared some thoughts on Twitter. 

"I’m being real……it’s DAWGS at our position but it’s ME or Kenny Moore II," Hilton tweeted.

Moore had 102 tackles and four interceptions for the Colts last season. 

Both Hilton and Moore went undrafted and now they're two of the top players at their position.  

The Bengals signed Hilton to a four-year, $28 million contract, which means he should stay in Cincinnati for the foreseeable future.
