Report: NFL Teams Hoping to Push Back Trade Deadline

The deadline was Tuesday, Nov. 1.

CINCINNATI — Multiple NFL teams reached out to the league about potential pushing back the trade deadline according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. 

Teams are hoping to push the deadline back to Week 10 or 12, instead of Week 8. 

Schefter reports that the subject could be discussed at the NFL's general manager meetings later this month and may be voted on at the owner's meetings in the spring. 

Ten trades were made on Tuesday, Nov. 1. That's a deadline record. Pushing the deadline back could allow for even more teams to make deals.
