Report: Dan Pitcher Lands Second Offensive Coordinator Interview With Tampa Bay

Cincinnati is trying to retain all of its coaching talent.

CINCINNATI — The Bengals gave quarterbacks coach Dan Pitcher a new contract recently. 

Although, it's not keeping him from an in-person interview with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for their open offensive coordinator position.

"Dan Pitcher will interview this week," Mike Garafolo said on NFL Network. "Now, it's technically his second interview, but the first one was via Zoom. So I guess we'll call this, I don't know, one and a half everyone else has conducted their in-person interviews for that job as the Buccaneers look to move on to life post-Tom Brady."

Pitcher has been instrumental in the Bengals' offensive game-planning over the past few seasons.

He has been the quarterbacks coach since Joe Burrow got drafted in 2020. Pitcher earned a promotion from assistant QBs coach before that season. 

The Buccaneers are one of a few teams interested in Cincinnati assistants.
