Report: Steelers Hiring Arthur Smith as Offensive Coordinator

Pittsburgh's offense has been a mess the past few seasons.

CINCINNATI — The Steelers have landed on Arthur Smith as their new offensive coordinator. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported the news. Smith got fired as the head coach in Atlanta following the 2023 season, only to land the new gig a few weeks later.

Smith led some impressive offenses in Tennessee as an OC there before taking over in Atlanta.

He'll try to get the most out of Kenny Pickett, or whoever Pittsburgh rolls with at quarterback after he regressed heavily in 2023. The Steelers ranked 23rd in offensive EPA/play this past season and 16th in offensive success rate.
