Buffalo Bills Playoff Picture: Where Do They Stand After Win vs. Kansas City Chiefs?

The win against the Kansas City Chiefs keeps the Buffalo Bills on pace with the AFC wild card race.

The AFC playoff race is about as crowded as it has ever been.

After the Buffalo Bills beat the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, they are one of 11 teams with a record above .500 in the AFC, but only seven of those teams will be able to play in the postseason.

Character, Resiliency Shines for Bills in Win Over Chiefs

The Steelers and Colts occupy the final two Wild Card spots for the moment due to their divisional wins against teams in their own division. Pittsburgh beat Cincinnati and Indianapolis beat Houston earlier in the season.

The Broncos, Bills, Bengals, and Texans are now involved in a four-way tiebreaker, which the Texans win after going 4-4 in the AFC.

The Broncos, Bills, and Bengals go to a three-way tie, and the Bills & Broncos advance based on their AFC record, but Denver is ahead of Buffalo after their Week 10 meeting.

Buffalo and Cincinnati go to a head-to-head tiebreaker, which the Bengals win after to their victory over the Bills in Week 9.

But with four games to go in the season, and many games between these teams left to go, the AFC playoff picture will experience some seismic shifts over the next month.
