Bills Officially Sign Ex Commanders DE Casey Toohill

The Buffalo Bills have added some depth along the defensive front.

The Buffalo Bills have added some much-appreciated depth at defensive end by signing Casey Toohill to a one-year contract, the team announced Tuesday.

Toohill, 27, is coming off a season in which he started eight games and recorded a career-high five sacks for the Washington Commanders. If he can bring that same production to Buffalo, then he should fit right in.

The Philadelphia Eagles drafted Toohill in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft, but waived him after he appeared in just one game for the team. The Commanders then picked him up on waivers a day later, and while he wasn't a star or anything, he did grow into a solid role player for the team.
