Bills' Damar Hamlin Hosts Charity Softball Game, Multiple Stars Attend
The Buffalo Bills seem to have a thing for taking to the baseball diamond this offseason, and safety Damar Hamlin is the latest one to use the sport for a good cause.
As part of his CPR Tour, Hamlin hosted the "Chasing M's" Charity Softball Game at his alma mater of the University of Pittsburgh on Saturday, which caused some big-name NFL athletes to attend either as spectators or in-game participants.
Some of the major names to show up included Los Angeles Rams star defensive tackle Aaron Donald - a former Pitt Panther - and Bills receiver Stefon Diggs. Though Diggs and Donald weren't on the official roster provided for either team, they came to show support for Hamlin's cause.
Both teams were also stacked with notable names.
The Chasing M's Gold team included Bills cornerback Dane Jackson, Arizona Cardinals running back and former Pitt standout James Conner, Cincinnati Bengals receiver Tyler Boyd, former Bills receiver Tavon Austin, and ESPN NFL analyst Louis Riddick.
The Chasing M's White team featured Hall of Fame receiver Terrell Owens, Denver Broncos receiver KJ Hamler, Kansas City Chiefs receiver Skyy Moore, Carolina Panthers running back Miles Sanders, Steelers receiver Diontae Johnson, Minnesota Vikings receiver Jalen Reagor, and many more.
The softball game was just one of the events that Hamlin and the Chasing M's Foundation was hosting over the weekend as part of the CPR Tour. Hamlin hosted a youth football camp on Friday, the softball game on Saturday and will wrap things up on Sunday with a free CPR training course followed by a Pittsburgh-area high school football All-Star game.
