Fournette, 28, signed with the Bills in late October and has yet to appear in a game this season. He was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a cap-clearing move in March. He rushed 189 times for 668 yards and three touchdowns last season while adding 73 catches for 523 yards and three more scores.
Buffalo already has a three-headed rushing attack with Josh Allen, James Cook and Latavius Murray. Cook gashed the Dallas Cowboys in a 31-10 win on Sunday, finishing with 221 total yards and two touchdowns.

The Bills have continued to rely on Murray in the backup role while Ty Johnson has received some work as well. However, Johnson is questionable with a shoulder injury. Buffalo (8-6) and Los Angeles (5-8) will kickoff from SoFi Stadium at 8:00 p.m. ET.
