Bills Free Agent Target: How Chiefs DE Frank Clark Would Work with Von Miller

Buffalo lost middle linebacker Tremaine Edmunds to the Bears, but the Bills defense returns largely intact ... with one idea here to help via free agency: Frank Clark.

In the first wave of free agency, the Buffalo Bills have addressed needs on the offensive side of the ball. And rightfully so. But moving forward, there are some defensive players general manager Brandon Beane should take a look at to help improve the team even further.

Buffalo lost middle linebacker Tremaine Edmunds to the Bears, but the bulk of the defense will return. Still, that doesn't mean there aren't areas to improve, and there is at least one physical presence that could make Buffalo an even stronger force in the AFC East per syracuse.com:

2. Frank Clark, EDGE, Kansas City Chiefs

The Bills have a plethora of young pass rushers in their defensive line room as Beane has been aggressive with valuable draft capital on the edge in recent years. Von Miller is coming off a torn ACL and showcased how good this line could be with him in the lineup last season.

But do the Bills need more experience at the edge spot to complement the talent already assembled?

Enter Clark, who is a free agent after finishing out four seasons with the Chiefs. ...

There are other players mentioned along with Clark, but from our standpoint, Clark would make the most sense and a position that needs the most help.

Seahawks DT Poona Ford, Colts DE Yannick Ngakoue and Seahawks DE Darryl Johson Jr. are all possibilities too, but from a value standpoint, Clark makes the most sense for the Bills to bolster the pass rush by a guy who's proven in the playoffs, something the Bills hope to return to in 2023.
