Jordan Poyer's Wife Rips Officials In Buffalo Bills' Loss To Philadelphia Eagles

Rachel Bush, wife of Buffalo Bills safety Jordan Poyer, slammed the officiating in the team's overtime loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

NFL officiating usually leaves at least one fanbase feeling scorned each week, and in Week 12, it was the Buffalo Bills feeling the burn.

After Buffalo suffered a heartbreaking 37-34 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, Bills fans were livid over the allegedly unfair officiating of the game. Beyond just the fact that the Bills had 11 penalties to the Eagles' four, fans took issue with a few calls in particular. The one that left fans particularly angry was an intentional grounding on quarterback Josh Allen, despite Gabe Davis being in the area, when Eagles linebacker Haason Reddick appeared to bring him down with a brutal horse collar that even ripped Allen's jersey. It doesn't help that that call cost the Bills a touchdown.

Among a legion (or Mafia, if you will) of angry fans, Rachel Bush, wife of Bills safety Jordan Poyer, stands out. Late in the game, Bush shared a very passionate critique of the NFL's officiating job.

“I haven’t said a word about the refs all year but that loss of a TD is on them," Bush wrote on an Instagram Story, per the New York Post. "This game will 100% be on them if it comes down to that.

“When are we going to start holding them accountable and calling this out!? Enough give me a break, if you’re watching this game it’s more than clear.”

For what it's worth, referee Shawn Hochuli did answer questions regarding the controversial calls after the game. As expected, the intentional grounding call/horse collar no call was at the forefront of the conversation.

“The hit on Josh Allen, we felt that the force was from the front of the collar and what pulled him down was not from the back,” Hochuli said, per Syracuse.com. “So, that’s pretty much it. We felt that he was pulled down from the front of the jersey and collar.”

“He’s responsible for where the ball goes given that he started his throwing motion after he was contacted,” Hochuli said. “So we didn’t feel like the ball was in the vicinity or the area of an eligible receiver.”

Bush was also critical of the officials on X, sharing a picture of officials talking to Eagles coach Nick Sirianni with the caption "Listen Nick, we're doing all we can. The score would be a lot worse if we weren't.

Unfortunately for Bush and the rest of Bills Mafia, no amount of complaints about the officiating can change the outcome of the game, no matter how unfair it may be.
