Bills' Josh Allen Jokes Jets QB Aaron Rodgers Cheated at Pro-Am: 'He Did!'

Even away from the football field, Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen and New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers are both known as otherworldly competitors in almost everything they do.

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and New York Jets signal-caller Aaron Rodgers are set to begin what should be an entertaining AFC East rivalry, one that will hopefully last as long as possible as Rodgers nears the end of his Hall of Fame career.

But this offseason, the rivalry began on the golf course during the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in May. Rodgers currently has the upper hand over Allen after the Jets quarterback and pro golfer Ben Silverman won the event at -26.

However, Allen didn't hesitate to call out Rodgers' "win" during a recent appearance on the Pardon My Take podcast.

"Aaron Rodgers cheated, right?" the podcast host asked.

“He did,” Allen said. “I love Aaron, but he did.”

Allen said that Rodgers played with a handicap of 10. Per Golf Digest, his usual handicap is 3, leading to Rodgers getting more strokes than he should've.

"He may have gotten seven or eight strokes too many at Pebble Beach, or nine,” Allen said with a smile. “That’s from what other sources are saying, I’m not saying that.”

Even away from the football field, Allen and Rodgers are both known as otherworldly competitors in almost everything they do.

You can bet that Allen will hold onto this "grudge" until next offseason when he picks up the clubs again. But before that, he and the Bills will have to get past Rodgers and a rising Jets team this season, as both sides are already preparing for their Week 1 matchup on Monday Night Football on Sept. 11.
