Bills LOOK: Josh Allen Rocking Slick Blue Helmet Before Practice
The Buffalo Bills are hosting fans at Highmark Stadium on Friday for their Blue and Red practice, as the team is back in Orchard Park to continue preparations before the preseason.
And as if wasn't already easy enough to spot the larger-than-life presence of quarterback Josh Allen on the field, his fashion statement prior to the evening festivities certainly made him stand out while simultaneously getting fans excited about Buffalo's potential jersey-helmet combinations in the future.
Allen jogged out of the tunnel wearing a cool-looking blue helmet, a unique look considering he was wearing a red jersey for the Bills' Red team.
Take a look:
As multiple NFL teams have started wearing throwback helmets, many in Bills Mafia has been clamoring for the team to bring back its classic red helmets. It remains to be seen if the Bills will wear either blue or red helmets for a regular-season game in the future, but it's hard to deny that still have one of the best uniform combinations in the league.
On our FanNation/SI countdown of all 32 uniform sets in the NFL, the Bills checked in at No. 3, with thoughts on various eras of Buffalo threads.
"We're going to say something controversial: While the red helmets that the Bills have teased a comeback of for a couple offseasons now are associated with the success of the Jim Kelly/Marv Levy Era, their current white helmets are actually better. So are the white throwback helmets with the red Buffalo. The Bills ditched a disastrous uniform set in 2011, and haven't looked back since. Nor should they, even with the red helmets."
The Bills begin preseason play against the Indianapolis Colts at Highmark Stadium on Sunday, Aug. 12.
