Bills 'Impossible' Josh Allen: 'He Can Rip You Apart!' - Patriots' Matthew Judon
The Buffalo Bills and the New England Patriots are supposed to "sports-hate'' each other; such it the nature of the AFC East rivalry.
But the participants can still like each other - and the participants can still love each others' games.
Enter Matthew Judon, who is showing his respect for Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen on a national stage.
Judon, the New England Patriots' gifted pass-rusher, has gotten a belly-full of Allen in the last couple of years. Judon knows his stuff - he's a four-time Pro Bowler - and he knows his opponent.
How good is Allen? Judon is suggesting that the QB's dual-threat ability makes him doubly difficult to deal with.
“If he never wanted to use his feet,'' Judon said via NFL Network (ht Bills Wire), "he could just absolutely rip you apart with his arm.''
For the record, Bills coach Sean McDermott would like to see a little more "arm'' and a little less "leg'' from the Pro Bowl QB. Said the coach of Josh's assertive (reckless?) penchant for running: "I don't think that's a healthy way to play QB in this league, and it's undefeated that things are going to happen when you play that style, that brand of football.''
And Matthew Judon of the Pats? He'd surely with the Patriots could just see a lot less of Josh Allen altogether.
