Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen: 'Strongest Arm' in NFL?

Josh Allen has one of the strongest arms in the NFL, and it will be needed as the Buffalo Bills try to push for the playoffs.

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has been one of the leading forces behind the team's last two wins and is helping bring the team back in the playoff picture.

Allen has always been lauded for his arm, and ESPN is declaring it the strongest in the NFL.

"A high-RPM thrower, Allen can hammer the ball to every level of the field," ESPN writes. "He has 11 throws of at least 25 air yards this season, and his pass velocity is on display when throwing into tight windows (37.3% completion rate on tight-window throws, sixth in the NFL per NFL Next Gen Stats)."

A big part of Buffalo's offense being successful is Allen having the potential to take the top off the defense at any moment. With receivers that can go deep like Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, that threat is always there. Not only does it pose a threat, but it also helps with the running game.

James Cook is enjoying his best season with the Bills with 968 rushing yards while Allen himself has also been strong on the ground with a career-high 11 touchdowns.

Allen and his arm are looking to get the Bills one step closer to the postseason when they take on the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on Peacock.
