Bills WATCH: Josh Allen 'Starstruck' After Meeting Tiger Woods
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has made a name for himself on the golf course.
But even that couldn't prepare him for meeting one of the most recognizable figures in sports on Sunday, as Allen got to chat with legendary golfer Tiger Woods during the final round of the Genesis Invitational in Los Angeles.
“A little starstruck obviously,” Allen said. “He’s one of the only athletes ever - him and Kobe are the two guys that I actually felt my heart beat faster.”
Allen was smiling ear-to-ear while meeting Woods. He was joined by Houston Texans backup quarterback Kyle Allen, who was doing the same.
But in regards to Buffalo's Allen, he competed at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am earlier this month against current and former NFL stars like Aaron Rodgers and Larry Fitzgerald.
Still, all that may have not prepared Allen for coming face-to-face with one of his idols, though the experience of playing on a professional golf course allowed him to soak in the moment while watching Tiger on the green.
“He’s standing over a putt for a tournament, like I legit felt the pressure with him, so that was pretty cool," Allen said. "I’ll never forget it.”
Woods finished Sunday tied for 45th with a -1 total.
